Tetso College is affiliated to Nagaland University (NU), accredited by NAAC (National Assessment & Accreditation Council) and recognised under 2 (f)& 12(B) of the UGC Act 1956. Tetso College is a multidisciplinary PG college offering programs from junior college (class 11&12) to the postgraduate level in professional (BBA, BCA etc), humanities and commerce streams with a student demography across India. 

The college was established in 1994 and is sponsored by the Council of Rengma Baptist Churches. Tetso College has been consistently securing gold medals in the University Final exams. It also has a wide network of collaborations with both foreign and domestic universities and institutions, industry, government and NGOs to further the institution’s mission and vision.

Tetso College is one of the most technologically advanced institutions in Nagaland with wide-scale integration of digital resources ranging from on-ground implementation of online fee collection, developing its own digital platform, integrating Google for Education and has a strong social media presence. The institution has the largest number of followers among institutions in Nagaland on all platforms – Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and Youtube. The different departments of the college have also started their own podcasts on Spotify, Google Podcasts and they also produce publications and e-content on a regular basis. The college also has its own weekly column in collaboration with The Morung Express and has started its own online digital magazine called dottalks.in which features book, movie reviews etc.

The college has its own media team, IT team and publication and internal research team which includes publications like the annual Tetso Journal of North East India Studies ((ISSN 2319 – 2925, Tetso College Anthology of Literature & Art (ISBN 978 – 81- 929456-1-3), Tetso Journal of Education and more.
